I had a charcoal pea coat for over 25 years and finally donated it, so I was looking for something similar in black. I do not wear a coat every single day, our winters are pretty mild, so I mainly wanted something nicer than a hoodie for going out. This is not a wool coat, the fabric has more of an altwool type feel, still has a good thickness and looks nice on. Only real issue was a lot of wrinkles out of the bag because it comes rolled up and vacuum sealed. I know how to iron so it was fine, just be ready to steam it a bit. Overall it is well worth the money and a very cute coat.
